Premier League: Top 8 greatest comebacks (7)

Luis Suarez

An unpopular choice for such a list, I'm sure, but Suarez is certainly a man who is looking to banish memories of past indiscretions in superb style.

The striker has attracted frequent unwanted and negative controversy during his career, including the racial abuse of Patrice Evra and two shocking bites on opponents - the second of which came for Liverpool during a Premier League fixture against Chelsea in April.

Following that indiscretion, it appeared to all as if Suarez simply had no future on these shores. However, he has comeback in quite fine style and currently leads the scoring charts with 17 top-flight goals.

While I am obviously not saying that a good run of form should see his previous misdemeanours forgotten , it is wonderful to see the undeniably talented Uruguayan at last let his extraordinary feet do the talking for a change and making the headlines for all the right reasons.
