Tottenham Hotspur have parted ways with Andre Villas-Boas following the 5-0 thrashing they received at the hands of Liverpool. The White Hart Lane outfit announced this morning that they had agreed terms with AVB for his departure via mutual consent.

And whilst things may be fairing better for David Moyes in the wake of his side's 3-0 win over Aston Villa at the weekend, the Scot has been left with food for thought if this morning's reports are to be believed. The Spanish press is reporting that long-term target, Atletico Madrid starlet Koke, does not want to leave his current club.

Now across to Manchester City where Manuel Pellegrini will be beginning to plan how the club will navigate their second-round Champions League tie against Barcelona. The Citizens were drawn against the Spanish champions, who remain favourites to reach the final.

And from one European clash to another it appears that Jose Mourinho is set to get his wish of being reunited with Blues legend Didier Drogba. Following the Champions League draw that saw Chelsea get Galatasaray the big Ivorian is set to travel with his team to Stamford Bridge for the first time since he left the club in 2012.

And finally, Real Madrid will do their best to prevent Arsenal from securing the services of German star Sami Khedira next summer. The Gunners seem keen on bringing in both Karim Benzema and Khedira, but whilst Carlo Ancelotti is content to allow the first to leave, he wants to keep hold of his midfield enforcer.
