Chris Kaman has revealed that he's frustrated with life at the Los Angeles Lakers, reports ESPN.
The veteran center, who joined the team as a free-agent in the summer, has struggled for opportunities at the Lakers and has admitted that things have not turned out how he had hoped.
Kaman joined the Lakers as he expected to feature regularly, however after spending a lot of time on the bench, he's admitted his frustration.
Speaking to ESPNLosAngeles.com, Kaman said: "It's absolutely not what I was looking for.
"It's not really in my control. I just try to keep working hard and be ready if the time comes. And if it doesn't, then it just wasn't meant to be."
Kaman has also revealed that he wouldn't have joined the Lakers if he knew his opportunities were going to be so limited.
He continued by saying: "Never did I think I would come here and not play, otherwise I probably wouldn't have come.
"I had a bunch of other options, but I saw opportunity here."
The Lakers have suffered mixed results of late and Kaman may be given more of an opportunity in the near future.
The Lakers' next clash is with the Atlanta Hawks at the Philips Arena tomorrow where they will be looking to make it back-to-back wins.
Do you think Kaman will be given more of a chance at the Lakers in the future?
