Why can't Michael Jordan sell this $29m mega-mansion?

NBA legend Michael Jordan is having problems finding a buyer for his nine-bedroom, 19-bathroom 56,000-square-foot mega-mansion in the Chicago area.

Check it out in the video above, looks alright doesn't it. Unfortunately, no-one wants to meet Jordan's reserve price of $29m.

According to the Chicago Tribune, the house - which has been up for sale for an undefined period of time already - went under the hammer recently at auction.

But the highest bidder failed to match the reserve, much to the disappointment of Jordan, who is now based near Charlotte as the owner of the NBA franchise Charlotte Bobcats.

Jordan's spokesman told the Tribune: "We are disappointed that the high bid in today's auction of Michael Jordan's residence in Highland Park did not meet the reserve price.

"Concierge Auctions gave great exposure to the property and opportunity, but the market conditions were just not right to drive a fair value.

"We will be evaluating options for the property in the New Year."

Concierge Auctions posted the YouTube video of Jordan's house two months ago, hoping to drum up interest in the Chicago property.

The video has racked up more than 2.5 million views on YouTube, but unfortunately for Jordan, that hasn't translated into a sale.

Fancy a look around Jordan's home, watch the video above...
