Neil 'Razor' Ruddock is a surprise inclusion in the top 10 list of most searched for football stars in the United Kingdom in 2013, proving more popular than the likes of Cristiano Ronaldo and Lionel Messi, reports the London Metro.
The former Liverpool and Tottenham Hotspur defender retired in 2003, but shot to fame again after appearing on reality TV show 'Celebrity Big Brother' at the start of the year.
There was a huge spike of interest in Ruddock in January, as he embarked on a memorable television journey in the 11th edition of the celebrity spin-off show, finishing the competition in fifth place.
Former XFactor singer Rylan Clark - who built an unlikely friendship with Ruddock - was declared the eventual winner, but the 45-year-old hard-man was very much a leading star of the show, hence why he features so highly in the list of most searched for football stars, sneaking into the top 10.
The list is primarily dominated by players whose transfer sagas were splashed all over the news during the summer, as well as a number of other stars who hit the headlines for various reasons.
