Damian Lillard sinks three-point bomb to seal Trail Blazers win

Damian Lillard hit his second game-winning shot in a week on Tuesday night, handing the Portland Trail Blazers a 119-116 victory over the Cleveland Cavaliers.

The second-year point guard followed up his impressive performance in the victory over the Detroit Pistons with another imperious display.

He piled on 36 points, 10 assists and eight rebounds in the win over the Cavs, and won his personal battle with opposite number Kyrie Irving.

The two young stars put on a show for the Cleveland crowd, but Lillard came out on top courtesy of the buzzer-beating three pointer at the death.

The win moves the Trail Blazers to 22-4 on the season, the best record in the NBA. That's impressive enough by itself, but it's doubly difficult in the super-competitive Western Conference.

Not many pundits had the Portland team in the conversation as one of the best teams in the league, but they're well and truly in the mix now.
