Manchester United are interested in signing yet another young winger in the shape of Dinamo Bucharest’s Dorian Rotariu, according to the Independent.

The 18-year-old has been scouted by David Moyes since the start of the season whilst the winger has found the net six times in 2013/14.

Rotariu could join fellow young wingers Adnan Januzaj and Wilfried Zaha at Old Trafford, increasing the competition for starting spots in United’s first XI.

Yesterday, Moyes admitted no loan offers have come in for Zaha, who has struggled to make an impact at Manchester United so far. Newcastle United are reported to be interested in taking the 21-year-old for the remainder of the season.

Rotariu’s agent, Victor Becali told Sport FM: “They watch young players these days. It may be Rotariu is being watched by several clubs. The player has been wanted for a long period of time.

“They take everything into account; they see if a football player fits the profile of the country, they see what kind of man he is and what kind of character he has. Discussions have not started yet. If they do, it will be during the transfer window."

The youngster earned his first call-up to the Romanian Under-21 side this year.

The Red Devils have a large collection of wingers currently under contract but may flog the older players to accommodate the new generation for their manager.
