Stephen Curry's consistent quality was once again on show for the Golden State Warriors last night, setting an new high for the current NBA campaign of 11 consecutive matches featuring a personal haul of 20 points.

Curry's performances have stayed at a high standard this season despite signs of inconsistency from a talented Warriors squad, continuing that trend with 28 points in a 104-93 victory over the New Orleans Pelicans.

Golden State's showing ensured a quick recovery from last weekend's defeat against Pheonix, with Curry 11-19 from the field as his efforts ensured a career-best scoring haul continued.

The 25-year-old efforts surpass anything offered up by LeBron James or Kevin Durant in terms of reliable numbers so far this season, helping Golden State remain very much in the play-off hunt.

Curry's prowess across the court is sure to be tested to the full in the next fortnight, with Golden State facing the San Antonio Spurs and Los Angeles Lakers in the space of 48 hours.
