Miami Heat star LeBron James is a major doubt for his side's game against the Indiana Pacers, according to ESPN.
James, who injured his ankle in the Heat's 117-94 win against the Utah Jazz, skipped training on Tuesday due to the injury he sustained earlier on in the week.
Speaking to ESPN on Tuesday, James said his ankle felt 'very stiff and very sore'.
The 28-year-old forward was substituted in the third quarter of the Heat's clash against the Utah Jazz - but came back on to help his side claim their 18th win of the season.
However James could now miss the Heat's game against the Pacers on Wednesday night if he is unable to shake off his minor knock.
James will receive medical treatment throughout Wednesday afternoon before a decision is made as to whether he can play against the Pacers or not.
Miami Heat head coach Erik Spoelstra will be desperate to have James available for selection as his side lost 90-84 to the Pacers last Tuesday.
