Andres Iniesta has reportedly snubbed Manchester United in order to pen a new deal at the Nou Camp.
Sensational speculation has been rife for months now suggesting that the World Cup winner could make a switch to the reigning Premier League champions, having initially refused to commit to a new deal with Barcelona.
However rumours this week looked to end gossip by claiming that the playmaker was in advanced talks with the Catalan giants over a proposed extension to his contract.
And now, according to Spanish newspaper Marca, the two parties have reached an agreement that will see Iniesta remain at the club until he is 34. It is thought that everything down to the salary has been confirmed, and only the small details need to be thrashed out to conclude the negotiations.
United had retained continual interest in Iniesta, despite the midfielder openly stating that he would preferred to stay with his boyhood team. Moyes will now have to turn to other targets in his bid to revamp his midfield with a quality attacking-midfielder.
