Ronaldinho was unable to lead Atletico Mineiro to the semi-final of the Club World Cup on Wednesday night and, following the 3-1 defeat to Raja Casablanca, would understandably hoped to have trudged from the field undetected.
The Brazilian legend, however, was not afforded the opportunity to leave the pitch in hurried fashion as he was immediately mobbed by his starstruck opposition following the final whistle.
Not simply content with their victory and a place in the final of the competition, the Raja Casablanca flocked towards Ronaldinho in the hope of stripping him of his garments.
First to go was his shirt, before the former Barcelona superstar granted one player permission to unlace and keep his boot. Not to outdone, another Casablanca swiftly moved to take the other boot, and both celebrated as if they had already won the Club World Cup.
