Juventus are determined to sign Manchester United’s Nani in January despite the winger signing a new five-year deal, according to the Metro.
Nani has made 10 appearances in all competitions for the Red Devils this season, but has so far failed to cement a regular starting position under new boss David Moyes.
The Italian champions are thought to be intent on luring the Portuguese winger away from Old Trafford to strengthen their squad ahead as the push for another Serie A title.
The Old Lady do not see Nani’s new five-year contract as a problem and appear to be willing to splash the cash.
According to Italian newspaper Tuttosport, Juventus will try to tempt the 27-year-old with regular first team football but United are unlikely to accept any offers in January.
Nani signed a new five-year deal with the Premier League champions in September despite new competition entering the United fold, in the shape of young starlets Wilfried Zaha and Adnan Januzaj.
Speaking to BBC Sport in September, David Moyes said: "I'm really pleased Nani has re-signed for the next five years. He has great ability and experience beyond his 26 years.
"I've been impressed with his approach to training and look forward to working with him in the coming seasons."
