Is there a better player on the face of the planet than Luis Suarez right now?

Having signed a new contract to put to bed speculation regarding his future with Liverpool this week, the in-form forward went about justifying his brand new £200,000-per-week salary.

He scored two simply sublime goals in Liverpool's 3-1 win over Cardiff at Anfield earlier today, and had a hand in the third as Liverpool went to the top of the Premier League table, until Monday at least.

Suarez has been in such good form recently he's been breaking records left, right and centre, which is simply sensational when you think that he missed the start of the season for Liverpool.

He's the first player in the Premier League era to score ten goals in one calendar month. He's the third player in Premier League history to score 19 goals before Christmas. He's got 42 in his last 46 games and has scored more on his own that half of the Premier League's 20 teams.

Check out his latest examples of brilliance above and revel in the genius that the Liverpool striker truly is.
