Ivan Rakitic is being linked with a move to the Premier League, with Liverpool and Manchester United potential targets for the playmaker, with Chelsea also in the running.
The Croatian - who has 59 caps for his country - is supposedly unhappy at the underachieving Liga BBVA club Sevilla, and his inspired form so far this season - with seven goals and six assists - has caught the eye of the trio.
The 25-year-old said; "A football player can never say with certainty that he will remain in his club,"
"Such is the nature of our business. I'm in Seville for three years now and in this time many things have changed.
"It is clear that in such a big club people can not be satisfied with average results. If there is no success, if there are no trophies, frustration grows. Everything has changed.
"Before the start of the season we got 13 or 14 new players, so everything has just began to operate. Now we have a good series of results and we are all optimistic," Rakitic added.
It's rumoured that his release clause is £33 million, which the interested parties will have to meet if they are to have a chance of landing the talented midfielder.
Although Sevilla reside in 7th in the top tier of Spanish football, and finished top of their Europa League group, a move to the Premier League would be an attractive prospect.
And Manchester United and Liverpool would both greatly benefit from the arrival of Rakitic, who would introduce attacking flair, creativity as well as a keen eye for goal.
