Can Manchester United begin to pile more pressure on the current Premier League top four and forge a late push for the title?
With Manchester United finding some form and, after a promising win against West Ham at Old Trafford, can they defend their title?
Surely with the December games flowing thick and fast Manchester United can come back strong. The current table shows the Red Devils in seventh only 8 points from the top.
United, having played most of their big games already, may be sitting in a prime position to creep upon the early table leaders.
With a big name signing in January they could be a real force and David Moyes seems to have found some sort of defensive partnership with Smalling and Evans at the back. The pair looked against the Hammers and could now become Moyes' No.1 centre back pairing.
Moyes has also shown he can man-manage players after showing faith in Ashley Young and helping him find his form which he subsequently has with two goals in the same amount of games.
The Red Devils are still missing arguably their best midfielder and striker in Carrick and Van Persie and once this duo return, United will only get stronger.
With a marquee signing in January - a real playmaker bringing more creativity into the team - United could spark off a strong run and climb the table.
