Manchester United, Arsenal and Tottenham are on alert after discovering that Real Madrid winger Angel Di Maria could be available at the end of the season, according to talkSPORT.

Reports suggest that the 25-year-old Argentina international plans to assess his future after the 2014 World Cup finals - but, according to Spanish newspaper Marca, will not look to leave the Bernabeu in January.

Di Maria, who scored a fabulous solo goal against Valencia at the weekend, has found himself on the Real Madrid bench at times this season following the arrival of £86m Gareth Bale.

The South American arrived at the Bernabeu from Benfica in 2010 - and has since scored 31 goals in 160 appearances.

Arsenal were strongly linked with Di Maria before eventually signing his former Real Madrid teammate Mesut Ozil, while Manchester United were also previously interested in him.

However, Real Madrid boss Carlo Ancelotti reportedly wants to keep Di Maria at the club, meaning one of the interested Premier League teams would need to pay a substantial fee in order to tempt Los Blancos into selling.
