1. Sir Alex Ferguson
No prizes for guessing who sits top of the list: Sir Alex Ferguson is the greatest coach of the 21st Century so far.
The iconic Scot, who won a host of major honours with Aberdeen and Manchester United in the 1980s and 1990s, continued to enjoy unprecedented success as the Red Devils' manager.
Ferguson won eight Premier League titles between 2000 and 2013, one FA Cup, three League Cups, one Champions League and one Club World Cup.
The 71-year-old, who finally retired at the end of last season after 26 years at Old Trafford, also reached the 2009 and 2011 Champions League finals - but he could do little against Guardiola's Barcelona, who are arguably the greatest club side of all time.
