Top 10: Managers of the 21st Century (3)

Published 9 Comments

9. Fabio Capello

Fabio Capello, the Italian who cemented his status as a coaching legend during the 1990s with AC Milan, won the Serie A title with AS Roma in 2001 - which was an exceptional achievement.

He was named the Serie A Coach of the Year in 2005 - and two years later he won the La Liga title with Real Madrid in dramatic circumstances.

Capello moved into international management in 2008, when England came knocking, but his tenure with the Three Lions was largely disappointing - despite his superb record in qualifying.

However, after guiding Russia to the 2014 World Cup finals, he has a chance to make amends.
