Michy Batshuayi is set to sign for an unnamed Premier League club and loaned to Anderlecht, reports Belgian newspaper Het Laatste Nieuws.
The 20-year-old striker has been in fine form for Standard Liege so far this season, scoring 15 goals in all competitions.
Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger was reported to hold a strong interest in bringing the striker to the Emirates as the Frenchman looks to bolster his options in attack.
So far this season Wenger has been heavily reliant of Olivier Giroud, who has started 24 of Arsenal's 27 games.
Although displaying some good form up front, an injury to Giroud would leave Wenger with no option but to play the previously exiled Nicklas Bendtner.
And it seems that Wenger could be on the verge of bringing in much-needed reinforcements as the Belgium paper that Batshuayi is set to sign for a Premier League club.
However, fans will have to wait to see the talents of Batshuayi in the Premier League as it is also reported that Anderlecht will loan the player until the end of the season.
The only other challenge to Arsenal's interest is believed to be Swansea City who tabled a £2.5m bid for the striker in the summer only to see it rejected.
