Premier League goals in 2013: 13

We start our best strikers list...with a midfielder. It just goes to show how good Frank Lampard is at getting forward that he is mixing it with the very best attackers; the Chelsea man not only surpassed 10 league goals yet again last term but also became the west London club's leading scorer in the process. Not bad for a fat lad eh?

Rooney meanwhile has had a toppsy turvey year and is only now finding his best form; it was always inevitable that his goal scoring would drop off following the arrival of Robin van Persie last summer and that is certainly the case.

Giroud continues to lead the line valiantly for Arsenal but he could have added a few more to his tally last night against Chelsea; proof if ever there needs be that he may not be one of the elite strikers in Europe. Regardless he remains a threat for the Gunners.
