2: Cristiano Ronaldo

As he hits the supposed peak of his career it's frightening to imagine what Ronaldo may be capable of in the coming year.

Now that he's tied down to Real Madrid on an insanely lucrative contract it's difficult to imagine him moving away from the Bernabeu, but that doesn't mean he won't be mesmerisingly brilliant again- as he always is.

With Portugal set for another shot at the World Cup it's easy to see why Ronaldo's included in this list. He virtually single-handedly gifted them qualification over Sweden
