Spanish newspaper Marca has published their best XI of 2013 - and it contains no players from the Premier League but six from La Liga.
With the year drawing to a close, many newspapers including L’Equipe from France and Gazzetta dello Sport from Italy have published their teams of the year, while the Guardian revealed it's yearly top 100 list over the last week.
Marca asked their readers to vote for who they think should be in their team of the year, and after 300,000 votes were cast the final XI has now been revealed.
Barcelona's Victor Valdes is a surprise inclusion in goal ahead of Bayern Munich's Manuel Neuer, who was on the original list of Ballon d'Or candidates.
Bayern full-backs Philipp Lahm and David Alaba line up alongside Sergio Ramos and Thiago SIlva at the back, while Andres Iniesta, Xabi Alonso, and Ballon d'Or finalist Franck Ribery form the midfield.
Ahead of them is an attacking line of Lionel Messi, Cristiano Ronaldo, and Zlatan Ibrahimovic.
Overall three Bayern Munich players make the team, alongside three from Barcelona and Real Madrid.
PSG's big spending appears to be paying dividends, with two of their players making the team of the year.
