However it is perhaps telling that under Roberto Mancini in 2013 they scored 28 goals in roughly five months, while in the five months of this season they have managed 53.
Having blown away both Arsenal and Tottenham in recent weeks and now with Liverpool added to the list of top teams they've beaten at the Etihad stadium, it will take some stopping the 2011/12 champions this time round.
