2013: Top 5 highest scoring Premier League teams (1)

With 2014 on the horizon and the Premier League title race well and truly hotting up, now seems like the best time to look back on what has been a pretty memorable 12 months of action.

List season Manchester United strolled to the English league crown, while this time round it appears to be a shootout between about five different teams.

As simple as it sounds, the key to winning the title will be putting the ball in the back of the net, and by looking back over 2013 to see which sides scored the most, we may be able to glean a few clues about how it is going to go in 2014.

So without further ado, let's take a look at which Premier League side found the back of the net more often than any of their rivals over the last 12 months.
