Premier League: Best XI of 2013 (2)

Published 4 Comments

GK: David de Gea

Possibly a bit controversial, but David de Gea has been the most consistent goal-keeper this year. He was vital in Manchester United's 20th Premier League title and has kept them in many games this season, especially during such a testing period with a new manager and fluctuating results.

Only 23, the 'keeper still has vast amounts of untapped potential, and he can only improve. It's very rare you see him make a mistake or get beaten easily compared to Simon Mignolet's clanger against Manchester City.
