Liverpool winger Raheem Sterling could leave Anfield this month if Mohamed Salah seals a move to the Premier League, according to the Daily Mirror.
Sterling has started Liverpool's last eight games due to Daniel Sturridge's recent absence through injury, who could return to first-team action this weekend.
The 19-year-old is likely to fall down the pecking order if Liverpool boss Brendan Rodgers can snare Egyptian wideman Salah to the north-west.
Rodgers could therefore allow England international Sterling to move to Swansea City until the end of the season.
The Daily Mirror claim Salah could complete an £8million move to Anfield on a five-year deal in the next few weeks.
Salah, 21, has been in impressive form for FC Basel this season - particularly in the Champions League where he scored against Chelsea in both group stage ties.
And Rodgers believes Sterling should depart the club if Salah comes in so he can continue his progression.
