Tottenham trio Andros Townsend, Lewis Holtby and Jermain Defoe all returned to training this morning, according to the Haringey Independent.
This will give Spurs boss Tim Sherwood a huge boost before his first North London derby in charge of the Lilywhites on Saturday.
Spurs had a huge injury list when Sherwood took over as the new boss at White Hart lane, however they have managed to win three of his last four games, despite being left short of options.
Townsend has had an impressive season so far, earning a place in the England side, however Aaron Lennon has now come back from injury and was excellent against Patrice Evra on New Year's Day with his explosive pace. Sherwood may favour Lennon over Townsend now, which could dent the winger's chances of making the plane to the World Cup.
Holtby's return will please a lot of fans around White Hart Lane, with the German international grabbing four goals and five assists so far this season. The playmaker will give Sherwood an extra bit of attacking creativity in this new-look Spurs side that are excelling under his attacking philosophy.
With Jermain Defore widely expected to leave this month, the only thing that Sherwood may be thinking is that his return to training could spark up more interest for the England international, giving himself more of a chance of offloading Defoe during this transfer window.
