Manchester United are odds-on favourites to sign Barcelona target Koke in the January transfer window.
SkyBet have shortened their price on the Premier League champions bringing the Spanish international midfielder to England, with 8/13 available on the deal taking place before February 1st.
The odds come on a day when reports claimed Manchester United manager David Moyes sent a delegation from the club to broker a deal for the highly-rated Atletico Madrid starlet.
Moyes made a personal check on the 21-year-old last month, according to Goal.com, and appears to have been suitably impressed as he attempts to make the player one of the Red Devils' first signings of the New Year.
ESPN claimed only last week that a £30million bid was being prepared.
The bookmakers clearly believe Manchester United are now well placed to secure the signature, and they have plenty of time to conclude their business following a summer of disappointment at Old Trafford for the Scot.
After replacing Sir Alex Ferguson, Moyes could only add Marouane Fellaini as a significant signing before the start of the season, and he'll be hoping things go a little better in 2014 after a number of disappointing displays on the pitch.
In the betting market at least, they are well clear of second-favourites Barcelona, who are priced at 25/1 to sign the player from their La Liga rivals.
The Blaugrana have been linked with a move for the player for some time, with initial reports back in October claiming Gerardo Martino was ready to challenge for the youngster's signature.
Barcelona certainly don't lack attacking midfielders at the Camp Nou, but with the link never going away, it appears the Spanish champions would like to add the six-cap international.
If the bookies are to be believed, then they have a long way to go to secure his signature.
