Chelsea will have to move quickly if they want to sign Mario Balotelli this January, as it is being reported that his former manager at Manchester City wants to reunite with him.

According to Portuguese publication Record, Galatasaray have started negotiations with the AC Milan striker's agent, Mino Raiola, at the request of Roberto Mancini, despite shipping him out of the Etihad Stadium last year because of his attitude.

Chelsea are reportedly looking to add a striker in the the January transfer window and were linked with a €30million swoop for Balotelli recently, with Mourinho reportedly keen to have his own reunion.

Balotelli emerged at Inter Milan while the Blues boss was in charge there, but the pair's relationship was often strained due to the striker's erratic behaviour.

Manchester City signed him from Inter but Mancini lost patience after a series of bizarre episodes involving Balotelli and last January shipped him off to AC Milan.

It appears the Gala boss is ready to forgive and forget as the report claims he is keen to add firepower to his forward line, which is already a formidable line-up with Chelsea legend Didier Drogba and prolific Turkey international Burak Yilmaz the stars.
