David Moyes has revealed he will not be making any new signings in this transfer window, according to the Mirror.
Manchester United fans are concerned as they have seen their team slip away from the title race and now sit 11 points behind leaders Arsenal - their worst start to a top-flight season in 51 years.
Moyes' reign did not start well, with a disappointing summer transfer window where no big names were brought in and top signing Marouane Fellaini has failed to perform.
Recently it was also revealed that Wayne Rooney - United's star man - was stalling on signing a new contract - raising doubts over his future.
And now, despite many United fans' wishes to see their squad bolstered for the second half of the campaign, they are set to be disappointed as their boss has no such plans.
When asked if there was to be any transfer movement in this window, he said: “I don’t think so. I think most of the business will be more towards the summer rather than January.”
This raises two possibilities - Moyes believes in his current squad to turn things around and fight for the top places, or there is simply no spending money for the manager.
Either way, it will become clear soon enough if this is a costly decision by the Manchester United boss.
