Liverpool manager Brendan Rodgers' appears set to enhance his side's Premier League challenge with the acquisition of young Egyptian Mohamed Salah from Basel before the close of the January transfer window.
The 21-year-old has scored four goals in the Swiss Super League this season, while he also found the net twice during the Champions League group stages, and is establishing himself as one of the most accomplished young talents in Europe.
Salah appears set to complete a move to England prior to the transfer deadline later this month, and Liverpool remain favourites to clinch a deal for the £20 million-rated forward.
The Egypt international would be a welcome addition indeed as Liverpool bid to get their title challenge back on track and, at the very least, clinch a place in the Premier League's top four come the end of the season.
"I'd put him in the top five young players I am excited about," Daly said. "He's a really outstanding player. He has everything."
