Fulham target Simon Makienok has been told by his agent to remain in Denmark for the time being, according to Sky Sports.
"It's very important for Simon to make the right move." Michael Stensgaard, the forward's agent, told Press Association Sport,
"But there is no panic and no rush.
"If the right offer comes along then we will take a look at it."
The six foot seven inch striker has been courted by Fulham boss Rene Meulensteen, due to his impressive form in the Danish Superliga.
The Fulham boss has been quoted a fee of £3.3 million for the striker, who may be brought in should Dimitar Berbatov depart the club.
Since joining Brondby in 2012, Makienok has scored 28 times in 60 appearances - an impressive return for a 23-year-old.
His towering frame is considered to be something that would help him with the physicality of the Premier League, and Meulensteen is said to be a fan, hence why he wants to bring him to Craven Cottage this month.
With speculation suggesting Dimitar Berbatov could be poised for a move away from west London in January, the Cottagers will aim to strengthen their options up front, as they bid to stave off the threat of relegation from the Premier League.
