It seems that Demarcus Cousins really wants to play in this years All-Star game.
The Sacramento Kings big man has released a video called “One Fan At A Time” in which he tries to win the hearts, and votes, of the public.
In the two-minute video you see the former University of Kentucky baller get advice from current Mayor of Sacramento Kevin Johnson.
The former Phoenix Suns point guard, and three time All-Star, tells Cousins that he has to get out in the town and win over the fans, one at a time.
And that’s exactly what Cousins does. The 6"11 Center serves lattes in a coffee shop, teaches a yoga class, drives a cab, helps a child learn how to ride a bicycle and performs a karaoke version of Prince’s hit ‘Purple Rain’.
He does need the votes as well.
Despite being fifth in the league for rebounds and eighth in points-per-game average and calls from Shaq and Lebron to be in the game, Cousins was in 12th place in Western Conference front-court voting when polls were released the day after Christmas.
If the terrible acting hasn't put you off then you can vote for Demarcus here.
