Roberto Martinez could welcome Leighton Baines back to the Everton side to play Norwich after a back injury kept him from featuring in the FA Cup tie against QPR at the weekend, reports talkSPORT.
"I would say Leighton will be back in training on Thursday. We'll then have to assess him." Martinez told reporters.
Baines, who has made 14 appearances for Everton in the league this season, has played a big role for the Toffees, who are flying high in the Premier League under David Moyes' replacement.
Everton will also be without Deulofeu as he continues to recover from a hamstring injury. He joins Sylvain Distin and Phil Jagielka on the injury list. All three are out with hamstring injuries.
The defenders look to be out for two weeks where as Deulofeu is due to return to full fitness by the end of the month. Luckily for Everton, Distin and Jagielka could both feature in the FA Cup tie away at Stevenage.
Baines is a player whos future on Merseyside is in question as speculation grows regarding his future and a possible move to Manchester United.
The left-back, who has scored three goals for the Toffees this season, could be headed to Old Trafford as a replacement for the ageing Patrice Evra.
Although Everton have no desire to sell to Manchester United and have slapped a steep £25m price tag on the England international's head.
With the prospect of Champions League football in Baines' sight, however, it could be hard to convince the left-back to stay at Goodison Park.
