Formula One: What to look out for in 2014 (2)

New look cars (please don't be ugly)

Let's face it, looks do matter to us as we're the ones that will be forced to watch them until November.

Gone are the days when the cars were a thing of beauty and elegance, now we are reduced to dull liveries on cars that are caked in sponsors.

Livery aside, the fundamental look of the car is taking an overhaul with the regulations calling for a lower chasis and now an even lower front nose.

Whilst they aren't quite as ugly as the 'step nose' of 2012 that kept us awake a night, in the early part of that season we could be seeing the 'spear nose' which isn't aesthetically pleasing either but is nowhere near as ugly.
