Arsenal star Mesut Ozil has made a return to training after a three day break in Morocco, reports Goal.com.
The German international, who made his return to the pitch as the Gunners beat Tottenham in the FA Cup third round last week, was handed a rest by Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger this week.
Ozil missed part of the Christmas period with a shoulder injury, however will now be hoping to come back fully rested as the Gunners prepare for their next Premier League fixture.
The Gunners take on Aston Villa on Monday night and, with Ozil now back in training in north London, the playmaker will be hoping for a start at Villa Park.
The 25-year-old has been been a key member of the Gunners' side this season and will now hope to play his part in Arsenal's second half of the season.
Arsenal currently sit top of the Premier League and will be desperate to end their search for a trophy in this campaign.
