Manchester United boss David Moyes is ready to axe a number of his stars this summer, reports the Daily Mail.

The Red Devils, who have had a nightmare campaign so far, sit seventh in the Premier League and are already out of the FA Cup.

And now the likes of Javier Hernandez, Nani, Anderson, Alex Buttner and Anders Lindegaard could all face the Old Trafford exit at the end of the season.

All five stars have struggled to cement their places down in the side this season and appear to have not impressed David Moyes.

Despite Nani only signing a new five year deal to stay at the Theatre of Dreams earlier on this season, the Portuguese ace could now be given the boot out of Manchester United.

Meanwhile fan favourite Javier Hernandez has been a regular on the bench in recent seasons and could now depart Old Trafford. Anderson and Buttner continue to show inconsistency - when given the opportunity - and their long term futures are now in doubt.

And with David de Gea in fine form for the Premier League champions, Lindegaard's chances continue to be limited at United and the 'keeper could also head out of the exit door.
