Spanish giants and defending La Liga champions FC Barcelona has expressed an interest in Wolfsburg's 26 year old Brazilian midfielder Luiz Gustavo, according to reports.
The Catalan club is reported to be ready to fight off the likes of Arsenal and Tottenham Hotspur to sign the midfield destroyer.
Gusztavo who recently moved from European Champions Bayern Munich to Wolfsburg, is now a regular in the Brazilian national set-up and has formed a great partnership with Paulinho.
The 26-year-old moved from Bayern to get more playing time so he could have a better chance of retaining his spot on the Brazilian team to go to the World Cup.
He is known for his tough tackling, excellent tracking of runners in midfield and is tactically discipline to just sit in the hole in-front of the defence and protects it.
Gustavo is also good with the ball at his feet. He has a good range of passing and can also scores goals from outside the area.
With Sergio Busquets and Alex Song already at the Camp Nou, it is very difficult to see where Gustavo fits in should he make that move. It is very hard to turn down Barcelona when they come for you and so it will be interesting to see how this transfer story develops.
