Liverpool defender Daniel Agger claims he is not considering about leaving the club amid speculation that he could leave the club. The Denmark international has been linked with transfers to Barcelona and Napoli.
The Anfield club moved to recruit Mamadou Sakho and Kolo Toure during the summer transfer window, leading to suggestions that the decision may be taken to cash-in on another central defender.
Agger lost his place in the Liverpool starting XI due to injury earlier October but has been a regular fixture in recent weeks as the Reds enter into 2014 still harbouring ambitions of winning the Premier League title.
The 29-year-old, who has been with Liverpool since the summer of 2006, is perfectly happy to stay with the club under Brendan Rodgers and is not allowing conjecture about his future to cloud his thoughts.
"I'm not thinking about moving at the moment, not at all," Agger told Danish publication Jyllands-Posten.
"I've only seen what the papers say and I can't really do anything about it. There is no reason to believe these rumours."
Agger, meanwhile, will miss the next four weeks of Liverpool action after sustaining a calf injury during the comfortable win against Oldham in the FA Cup third round last weekend.
