With Jermain Defoe apparently heading off to MLS side Toronto FC, the issue Tottenham have to address is who will they replace him with.
New boss Tim Sherwood seems to favour a two man attack upfront. With Defoe's impending departure Spurs will only have the mercurial Emmanuel Adebayor and Roberto Soldado, with the latter not quite having found his feet yet in the Premier League.
Simple logic tells you that Spurs will need to add depth up front with at least one, but preferably two forwards.
