Is this the most blatant travel in NBA history?

Published Add your comment

A well-worn NBA cliche has reared its ugly head again this week thanks to the magic of retrospective video footage, with a blatant travel violation from Dwayne Wade seeing the Miami Heat star take seven steps in possession without dribbling, but failing to earn a foul call from officials.

Wade made the mistake during Miami's epic 108-107 win over the Portland Trailblazers on December 28th, marching forward into opposition territory with no attempt to dribble the ball.

Portland stand off and luckily Wade loses possession on his own, with no help from officials forthcoming.

Watch Wade's take seven unnecessary steps into the viral vault, complete with comedy narration from LeBron James thrown in for good measure, in the video at the top of the page.
