After being traded for Luol Deng, and then seeing the Bulls wave him in favor of payroll relief, Andrew Bynum finds himself without a team for the first time in nine years.

Since becoming the youngest player ever to play in an NBA game when he took to the court for the Lakers in 2005, Bynum has become a figure of inconsistency and controversy.

Having missed long periods due to a persistent knee injury, and found himself on the end of disciplinary action from previous employers, the Cavaliers, some have debated whether this is the end of Bynum in the NBA altogether.

But it turns out there are no shortage of suitors for the towering center with his physique and undeniable talent make him a tempting proposition.

Having reportedly been contacted by eight teams already, and set to clear waivers by 5 p.m. ET. today, we take a look at some of the runners and riders in the race for the signature of the controversial New Jersey native.
