No love loss for teammates from Timberwolves star

Kevin Love, the Minnesota Timberwolves power forward, has criticized some of his teammates following the Timberwolves 114-103 loss to the Phoenix Suns Wednesday night.

The Timberwolves conspired to throw away a six point lead with 1:36 left on the clock, and speaking to ESPN Radio Love made his point clear:

“We can’t have two guys sitting at the end of the bench, who play good minutes, just sitting there and not getting up at timeouts,

“We all need to be in this together. That kind of pi***s me off. We’re supposed to be a team.”

Loves frustration was clear, and with Minnesota 0-10 in games decided by four points or fewer, it appears his rant was focused on veterans J.J. Barea and Dante Cunningham:

“It’s two guys we expect more from them, and I think they expect more from themselves.”

Love has previous in this area having criticized the bench after a Dec. 30 loss to the Dallas Mavericks.
