Arsenal have made a €15m offer for Real Sociedad's attacking winger Antoine Griezmann, according to El Chiriguinto journalist Alfredo Duro.
Griezmann, who has scored 12 goals in 16 La Liga appearances this season, has been one of La Real's most outstanding performers over the last two seasons.
The 22-year-old has been identified by Arsene Wenger as a potential January signing, but it's believed that the Gunners' €15m opening offer falls some way short of Real Sociedad's valuation of the player.
The Spanish side, who finished bottom of their Champions League group this season, reportedly want at least €30m for the in-form France Under-21 international.
Wenger is keen to strengthen his attacking options following Theo Walcott's untimely injury.
The England international will miss the rest of the season after injuring his knee against Tottenham last weekend.
The Gunners have also been strongly linked with a loan move for Real Madrid striker Alvaro Morata; however, Wenger dismissed the speculation in his pre-match press conference earlier today.
