Argentine striker Hernan Crespo was recently voted the best player in Parma history during their centenary celebrations and has also broken the world transfer record during a memorable playing career, largely spent hopping around Serie A for quite outrageous transfer fees.

Crespo arrived at the Tardini for just £2m but left for Lazio a Parma legend who had fetched a flabbergasting £35.5m from the Rome giants, later also switching to Inter Milan and Chelsea in further mega-money moves.
