Ray Allen “Jesus Shuttlesworth”

2× NBA champion (2008, 2013)
10× NBA All-Star (2000–2002, 2004–2009, 2011)

In 1998, Ray co-starred in the Spike Lee film 'He Got Game' playing a high-school basketball star named Jesus Shuttleworth. Denzel Washington played his father, a prisoner who was paroled for one week to persuade his son to sign with the governor’s alma mater, and Rosario Dawson played his girlfriend in the film.

Allen has been called by his characters name by fans, teammates and TV guys ever since. It's just too perfect an opportunity to ignore and he'll be rocking the name as the Heat play Brooklyn tonight.

Heat guard Allen says he and filmmaker Spike Lee have spent time over the past couple of months discussing a sequel and are currently throwing ideas back and forth about the project. A chance of a new nickname perhaps? We'll have to wait and see...
