LA Lakers coach Mike D'Antoni has given an indication of when he expects both Kobe Bryant, and Steve Nash to return to competitive action.

Kobe has been missing for the Lakers since suffering a fractured lateral tibial plateau in his left knee on Dec. 17 against the Memphis Grizzlies.

The 15 times NBA All-Star has only played in six games so far this season after missing the first 19 games while recovering from an Achilles injury.

Nash, meanwhile, has been dealing with nerve issues in his back.

But when quizzed on whether Bryant and Nash could make a return to the starting lineup following the Lakers' 12 day road trip, D'Antoni had this to say:

"Hopefully both of them are ready"

This would put them in line for a return Jan.28 vs. Indiana Pacers.

With the Lakers struggling to a 14-22 record this season, placing them near the bottom of the Western Conference, this would be a timely boost for D'Antoni and his team.
