The Dallas Stars will hope to snap their string of four consecutive defeats in 2014 when they visit the New York Rangers tonight.
The Stars, who currently sit 10th in the western conference are without a win in the new year and have conceded 18 goals in that span.
Forward Tyler Seguin told Fox Sports Southwest; "I think right now we're wanting to win but we're not hating to lose, and I think that's a big thing we need to fix."
The Rangers meanwhile have four wins in their last six games with Swedish Olympic goalie, Henrik Lundqvist in terrific form. The Rangers' goal tender has only 16 losses, the third best in the NHL.
Carl Hagelin told NHL network that: "He (Lundqvist) plays at his best when his confidence is high, like any other goalie."
Rangers' forward Ryan Callahan and defenseman Michael Del Zotto both have one assist in each of their last three games.
New York are in ninth position in the eastern conference with a strong chance of making the playoffs for the fourth straight season.
The Stars will be without defenseman Stephane Robidas, who has a leg injury. The Rangers lone injury issue is Derek Dorsett, who has a broken leg.
