Former Manchester City striker Mario Balotelli has never been one to follow the trend and conform to the normal behaviour expected of a world class footballer.

So when his Milan teammates were practicing their ball skills during training this week, the firework-loving Italian was immersing himself in his own regime, playing keepy-ups with a pair of gloves.

While Milan have disappointed this term, sitting 11th in the league, Balotelli has still notched up nine goals to add to the 12 he netted after joining just a year ago and has impressed with his renewed work rate and drive.

And though it seems he is growing up in some regards, his glove-juggling skills are a throwback to his Manchester City days, where rumours of his various escapades made him something of a legend during his short time in English football.
