Arsenal to miss out on Pogba as PSG agree £40m fee
Big-spending Ligue 1 side reportedly agree fee with Juventus
Arsenal look to have missed out on former Manchester United starlet Paul Pogba, as Paris Saint-Germain have reportedly agreed a massive £40million fee - as well as an Italy international.
According to talkSPORT, reports in Italy are claiming Juventus were made on offer they could not refuse by the big-spending Ligue 1 champions, which was mooted to be in the region on £40million PLUS Marco Verratti.
Arsenal, according to the report, are very keen on the France youngster, who recently admitted he "dreamed" of playing for the Gunners as a child, but with even their new spending power they would have struggled to match the package put together by PSG.
Manchester United saw the former Le Havre youth product leave for a tribunal fee in the summer of 2012 after being unable to agree a new contract with the Old Trafford club.
They were probably regretting their decision almost immediately as Pogba showed glimpses of real class early in his days at Juventus and is now one of the leading midfielders in Serie A.
